Registering Trans Canada Trail
We still need to fill in the 63 gaps in the Trans Canada Trail in Ontario. If you have a route in mind for filling in one of the gaps, we would like to hear from you. Our criteria to register trail is that it needs to connect to existing TCT, has landowner permission to use as a trail, has 3rd party liability insurance and a defined route that can be mapped. Check out the Trail Locator to find out where TCT is in Ontario. Please contact kspence@tctrail.ca to chat about your possible registration!
Capital Funding For Trans Canada Trail
TCT has been funded by Canadian Heritage for the past years and this funding is coming to an end. If you require funding for your trail project, please contact TCTO staff to discuss your project. We will be able to work through your prjoect for funding.
Signage for Trans Canada Trail
If you require signage for your section of the Trans Canada Trail, please contact kspence@tctrail.ca for your request form. Signs are free and come in a variety of sizes. Coming soon, Signage Guidelines.
